As many of our clients are global players, we recognise the need to provide a global perspective. All of our researchers have international research experience, across Asia, Europe, Africa and America.
We have strong affiliations with our research partners across the world, and are able to offer international research of the highest standards.
Our approach to international qualitative research
We like to assign one global or regional project manager, who travels to each local market, briefs the moderator and views the groups (with the assistance of simultaneous translation if required). This gives us the benefit of a global view, with a local perspective.
Sometimes what you think you hear as a researcher in another country isn't really what you've heard. Different cultures can impact on types of verbal responses, as well as body language, intonation and group behaviour. We make sure that in each market we are debriefed by local moderators, who often give us as much of a view of what happens in a group discussion as the simultaneous translation.
Our approach to international quantitative research
The selection of an appropriate quantitative method can vary dramatically between countries depending on the local conditions and culture, the size and distribution of the population, and the information available about that population. Based on our own personal experiences in a range of countries, with help from local partners where appropriate, we are able to advise on sampling and interviewing methods to achieve our clients' aims, while maximising the level of comparability between markets.
