Research Manager
Patrick is a qualitative specialist who joined GfK Bluemoon at the start of 2011. Recently moved from the UK Patrick has three years experience in social and government research. Having worked across a range of projects including communications research, behavior change campaigns, and attitudinal segmentations Patrick has developed particular interest in health, youth issues and hard to reach audiences including ethnic or religious minorities.
With a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology, and an MSc in Visual Anthropology from Oxford University, his interest in understanding what people ‘think they do, say they do, and actually do' is what gets him out of bed in the morning.
Born and raised in London to a German father and Dutch mother, Patrick has grown up with an international mindset fuelling a long held desire to travel and work abroad. On arriving in Australia Patrick immediately learnt to surf (badly) and has taken up scuba diving as his main hobby. Waking everyday to blue skies is proving a great formula for a happy and productive lifestyle.
