Blue Moon Research & Planning was founded in 1992 in Sydney, Australia. Originally it was established as a purely qualitative agency, by two ex-advertising agency planning directors. Their objective: to combine strategic planning skills with qualitative research disciplines to offer clients market research of a higher quality.
In response to client demand, we added a quantitative capability in July 1997. Our Melbourne office opened in September 2002, and Blue Moon Social Research opened in July 2004.
In January 2008 Blue Moon joined the GfK group - a partnership which allows us to stay true to our boutique heritage while giving us access to one of the world's largest global research networks.
Today, we have medium-sized team of senior researchers across our Sydney and Melbourne offices.
